Wendy Brown, Founder and Owner of Choate-
Over her career, Ms. Brown has honed her expertise at developing marketing plan models to achieve improved and integrated practice processes resulting in enhanced patient outcomes and substantial increased revenues. From her experience as an entrepreneur and principal of a plastic surgery and dermatology consulting firm to being the former CEO of a large dermatology practice, she understands the nuances of successful business development within the specialties. Her broad based operational experience in plastic surgery and dermatology give her the tools to help Choate’s clients rise to the next level.
Her strength in developing strong collegial physician relationships is by partnering in business ventures, including practice assessments, marketing strategies, provider recruitment and contract negotiations.
Wendy is a sought-after expert on a range of issues specific to the specialties of dermatology and plastic surgery. She is quoted frequently in major media outlets as well as in a range of dermatology publications. Additionally, Wendy is currently working on an exciting potential project with a international known cosmetic filler company serving as a professional advisor . She is a national speaker and published dermatology management adviser.
Before starting Choate, Wendy’s past work experiences include positions as CEO of a large dermatology practice, Director of a plastic surgery practice and Marketing Coordinator of a large hospital based Breast Center.
Ms Brown serves in a variety of leadership roles in professional associations and organizations including MGMA, ADAM, SHRM NAPR and also is listed as a professional consultant with ASPS and AAD.
She holds a double undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Psychology(Cum Laude) from Bradford College in Mass and was on the Dean’s Honor List. She was an Active member of Management Consulting, Corporate Management & Strategy, and High Tech Clubs. In addition Wendy received certification as a medical office executive from the Hartford County Medical Association.
